Sterile Processing Technician Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Job Description Under direct supervision, the Sterile Processing Technician will care for, handle, and store instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery while processing goods for redistribution throughout the Medical Center. The role includes assisting Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, such as maintaining competencies.

Responsibilities Caring for and handling surgical instruments and supplies. Storing and processing goods for distribution. Assisting with team lead duties. Maintaining competencies as directed by supervisors. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2+ years of recent experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – REQUIRED Active HSPA certification for at least 2 years – REQUIRED Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – REQUIRED COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted – REQUIRED Why ARMStaffing?
