Sterile Processing Technician Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 5x8s, 3 PM – 11:30 PM with rotating weekends. Job Description The Sterile Processing Technician plays a critical role in the healthcare facility by overseeing the sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. This role demands a high level of detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure instruments are properly processed for use in patient care.

Responsibilities Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly of surgical instruments and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards. Participate in scope reprocessing activities. Collaborate with healthcare teams to meet procedural demands. Handle call responsibilities as designated and float to meet facility needs when necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing, including sterilization and decontamination.

Experience with scope reprocessing is required. Preferred experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedics, transplant, and gynecological cases. National Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA are required. Current South Carolina licensure preferred; candidates with a pending application may also be considered. Why ARMStaffing?
