Job Overview Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Store Admin Manager for their Heidelberg store. The role involves managing administration policies, procedures, and operations to ensure store profitability. Minimum Requirements Essential: Grade 12 / Matric Minimum 3 years retail experience in receiving, front shop operations, customer service, HR management, and store administration Minimum 2 years management experience overseeing ~8 staff Computer literate (MS Office) Willingness to work retail hours Advantageous: Diploma/Degree in Financial, Administration, Retail, or Business Management Working knowledge of SAP retail operation systems Key Responsibilities Assist Store Manager with trading routine and operational optimization Manage goods in transit per Dis-Chem procedures Control branch shrinkage and consumables expenses Drive loyalty program sign-ups Manage HR processes, documentation, and compliance Oversee workforce management system (KRONOS) Implement performance management systems Control store cash resources and daily takings Ensure transaction integrity via internal control procedures Manage cashier service levels and productivity Oversee goods receiving, credits, and staff development Assist with budget preparation and maintenance Competencies Essential: Retail admin/management experience (receiving, capturing, till operations, cash office, customer service) Strong English command Basic financial skills (GP, mark-up, VAT) Effective stakeholder interaction Strong analytical and time management skills Advantageous: Basic IR and management training Basic accounting knowledge Leadership portrayal Special Conditions Willingness to work retail hours Valid driver's license and own reliable transport South African citizen Clear credit and criminal records Remuneration & Benefits Market-related salary Medical aid Provident fund Staff account Note: Only successful applicants will be contacted.
