Role is to join our Civils Projects delivery team in the Eastern Region, working in Peterborough. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? Leading associated site team including engineering teams and subcontractors to successful completion of works. Producing short term programmes from the Contract Programme and communicating it with the wider team. Being responsible for recording the as-built information and change items.
Monitoring site activities against target programmes and reporting exceptions in outputs, delays, etc. Ensuring change on site is identified and recorded in line with the NEC contract conditions. Supporting site engineering teams and providing guidance. Monitoring all works activities to ensure they meet the Works Specification and are delivered safely following the principles of our behavioral based safety initiative, It Starts With Me.
Completing a site diary, organizing and delivering site inductions and daily briefings, keeping good site records. Ensuring all subcontractors and operatives have the relevant documentation to start work safely. What youll bring Good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks, drainage, and structures in a highways environment. A sound commercial foundation to facilitate cost control.
Effective team management, leadership, and influencing skills to get the best from everyone. Excellent customer skills and the ability to work collaboratively in all situations. Ability to drive excellent relationships with contacts at all levels including the client, colleagues, and key stakeholders. Highly organized and able to prioritize whilst multi-tasking for many stakeholders, and remaining focused on what’s most important.
