We are looking for a motivated and reliable Support Officer to join our Revenues and Benefits team. This is an important role that helps ensure residents receive efficient and effective services relating to Council Tax, Benefits and Business Rates administration. Working as part of a team, you will provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, assist customers with enquiries and help the service achieve its performance and compliance objectives.

What You'll Be Doing: Providing administrative support to help the Revenues and Benefits service operate efficiently. Maintaining and updating records and information accurately across service systems. Assisting with data gathering, reconciliations and routine processing activities.
Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone and in writing, delivering excellent customer service. Supporting compliance with legislation, policies, data protection and information security requirements. Working collaboratively with colleagues to help the team achieve service standards and targets., The position will be based in Spalding or Horncastle. Is well organised, motivated with the ability to manage tasks effectively.
Has good attention to detail and can work accurately with information. Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues. Enjoys working as part of a team and building positive working relationships. Is confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications. Can use initiative, solve problems and adapt to changing priorities. Is committed to providing a high standard of customer service and quality work.
