Quick Facts Location: 1201 South Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63104 Start Date: 09/09/2026 End Date: 12/09/2026 Shift: Night shift, 19:00 – 07:00 (3 days/week) Hours/Week: 36 Employment Type: Temporary/full-time License/Certs: Missouri RN license, BLS Experience: Minimum 2 years of adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $144.05 Benefits include: Competitive weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program What You’ll Do Provide first assist support in adult cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, valve repairs, ascending aortic procedures, and complex surgeries Assist with sternotomies, chest tube placement, and temporary pacing wires Support mechanical circulatory support procedures (Impella, ECMO, IABP) Collaborate with a team of cardiac surgeons and intensivists in a high-volume OR environment Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards What You Need Active Missouri RN license and BLS certification Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience Strong clinical skills in cardiothoracic procedures and patient management Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule About the Assignment This assignment is with a prominent academic hospital in St.
