Quick Facts Location: Lebanon, PA Start Date: 10/23/2026 End Date: 01/22/2027 (with possibility for extension) Shift: Night 3x24-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours/week: 36 hours (3 shifts per week) Employment Type: Contract/Temporary License/Certifications: PA license, DEA required, acute care certificate not required Experience: Minimum of 3 years in cardiothoracic or related surgical settings Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $886.86 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team for your success What You’ll Do Provide surgical assistance and support for cardiothoracic procedures Support staffing for urgent surgical cases, including vein harvesting procedures Assist with pre-op and post-op patient care within ICU and hospital settings Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure smooth operation of surgeries and patient flow Maintain accurate documentation via EPIC EMR system Respond to call during weekends and after-hours to support surgical teams Support patient management from ICU to discharge, ensuring quality care What You Need Required: PA license in Pennsylvania DEA certification 3+ years of experience in cardiothoracic or critical surgical care Proficiency with vein harvesting procedures and urgent surgery protocols Ability to work 24-hour shifts and respond to callbacks Preferred: Experience supporting cardiothoracic surgeries in hospital settings Strong communication and team collaboration skills About the Assignment This position is at a prominent hospital in Lebanon, PA, known for urgent cardiothoracic surgery support, from cath lab to postoperative care.
