The System Administrator for Engineering Computing plays a crucial role in maintaining the unique computing infrastructure within the College of Engineering. This role is responsible for providing technical support for desktop systems, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), IoT devices, and networking infrastructure. The System Administrator ensures reliable operation and efficient use of technology by faculty, staff, and students while maintaining documentation.
Additionally, the System Administrator will be responsible for installing, testing, coding, debugging, and managing existing applications, servers, and infrastructure, working with stakeholders to implement solutions that support the College’s mission.
