Shrewsbury College is Shropshire's largest college, teaching 16-18-year-olds and adults at three campuses in the town of Shrewsbury. We deliver a broad range of vocational and higher-level courses to 2500 16-18-year-olds, 4000 adult students, 300 HE students and 950 apprentices at our London Road campus. 2100 A Level students are taught at our Welsh and English Bridge campuses in the centre of Shrewsbury.

The college was inspected in March 2025 and judged to be 'Outstanding', with a 'Strong' contribution to skills. The college was recognised as a top 10 employer by The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 and enjoys 'outstanding' financial health. We have enrolled a record number of students in 2026-27, and have secured £10m of government funding to support new capital projects to expand our construction and science facilities.

Please note that all advertised salaries are based on the current pay scale and are subject to the 2026-27 cost of living pay award, which is currently pending. Salary: Up to £51,714 p.a. Full-time and part-time hours available. Permanent. London Road campus. To teach on at least two of our Early Years courses to full-time and part-time and to act as a personal tutor. Experience of teaching across Levels 1-5, assessing and knowledge of T-Level provision is desirable.
