Ortus Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hayes, London Borough of Hillingdon . You will be working closely with experienced teachers to support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally in a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Role – Primary Teaching Assistant As a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant , you will play an important role in supporting pupils' learning and helping them reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement Supporting pupils with different learning needs including SEN Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation What We Are Looking For We welcome applications from candidates who are: Passionate about education and working with children Interested in becoming a teacher, SEN specialist, or education professional Strong communicators who are patient, supportive, and enthusiastic Reliable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a school community Experienced working with children (school experience, tutoring, childcare, youth work, or coaching is beneficial but not essential) What You Will Receive £95 – £105 per day PAYE (no umbrella companies) Full-time long-term role with immediate start Opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience A friendly and supportive school environment Access to modern classrooms and excellent teaching resources Professional development opportunities Ongoing support from your dedicated Ortus Recruitment consultant Safeguarding Ortus Recruitment and our partner school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children .
