Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant – Bristol Full-Time, Part-Time & Long-Term Opportunities | Primary, Secondary & SEN Settings Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Bristol? Protocol Education is working with a wide range of primary, secondary and specialist SEN schools across Bristol , offering opportunities for passionate and dedicated support staff.

Whether you have general classroom experience or a strong background in SEND, we would love to hear from you. About the Role You could be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 , depending on your experience and preferences. Roles may include: General classroom Teaching Assistant support 1:1 and small-group learning support SEN Teaching Assistant support Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and additional needs Social, emotional and behavioural support Literacy, numeracy and curriculum support Supporting communication, confidence and independence Working alongside teachers and other support staff Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality 1:1 and small-group support Help pupils access learning and classroom activities Support pupils with additional learning needs where required Encourage positive behaviour and engagement Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils Promote confidence, independence and social development Assist teachers with classroom activities and resources Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment What We're Looking For Minimum 6 months' relevant UK experience working with children, young people or within an education/support setting Previous TA, LSA, SEN TA or similar experience is desirable SEND experience is highly desirable for SEN TA opportunities Patient, caring and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Genuine passion for supporting children and young people Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, but not essential Why Work with Protocol Education?
