Protocol Education is working with a specialist Autism school in North Bristol (BS35) seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference while gaining valuable experience within a specialist educational setting. About the Role You will support pupils with Autism and a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and build positive relationships. Your responsibilities may include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support.

Supporting pupils with Autism and SEND . Assisting with classroom activities and learning. Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Encouraging communication, confidence and independence. Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils. Working closely with teachers and the wider school team. Creating a safe, calm and supportive learning environment. ‍ We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Have previous Teaching Assistant or relevant school-based experience .

Have experience supporting children or young people. Have experience with Autism/SEND (desirable). Be patient, caring, resilient and adaptable. Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Be passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs. Be available for full-time work where possible. Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car – essential due to the school's location .
