Teaching Assistant - Bishop's Stortford Primary Schools Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting young learners in Bishop's Stortford? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a network of vibrant primary and secondary schools across Bishop's Stortford and the surrounding East Hertfordshire areas, including Sawbridgeworth, Stansted Mountfitchet, and Takeley.

Whether you are an experienced professional, a graduate looking to step into education, or someone with background experience in care or childcare, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities: Support classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery, activity setup, and group management. Work 1:1 or in small interventions with pupils to boost reading, writing, and numeracy skills. Create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment for all students.

Qualifications: Previous experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work. A patient, empathetic, and "can-do" approach to classroom support. Strong communication skills with a good proficiency in English and Maths. An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check). Candidates must reside in or within easy commuting distance of Bishop's Stortford (CM23).

What We Offer: Competitive Pay:Daily rates ranging from £90.00 - £105.00, paid weekly via PAYE. Flexibility:Choose between full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc supply schedules to suit your lifestyle.
