INTERNAL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY VIA MYSELF NLC7 £31,541 - £34,307 (Pro Rata) We have a part-time vacancy for a Team Leader, working within the Customer Services Hub. The role requires agile working and the ability to travel across North Lanarkshire to support the operational needs of the Hub. You will lead a team of Customer Service Representatives delivering first class, professional customer service to the public and a high quality front line service to the Council and its partners.
To be successful in this role you will have an HNC or SVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will have extended experience of leading a team in a busy contact centre or customer focused environment as well as a proven record of coaching and performance management to ensure your team provides the highest standard of customer service and technical advice. As well as excellent communication and IT skills you will have the ability to organise and implement plans for your team.
You will demonstrate a positive, proactive approach with the ability to motivate and develop a culture of team work. Knowledge of relevant IT systems, personnel procedures and policies, council services and functions is desirable. The post holder is required to participate in standby rota which supports the work undertaken during out-of-hour service. From time to time the post holder may be asked to provide cover for the out-of-hours service.
