Temporary IT Support Specialist

Position Purpose North Carolina A&T State University periodically has temporary staffing needs within the field of Information Technology (IT). This recruitment is intended to identify qualified candidates for temporary IT opportunities as workforce needs arise across the University. Temporary assignments may be available at various levels and across a broad range of IT disciplines, including technical support, systems administration, application support, cybersecurity, network services, web development, and other technology-related functions.

Assignment length, work schedule, and level of responsibility will vary based on departmental needs. Potential Duties and Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to: Desktop and end-user device support Software installation, configuration, and updates System monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting Technology-related communications and information support Website maintenance and development Enterprise-level IT support and services Other duties as assigned by the supervisor Additional Information Specific job duties, qualifications, work schedules, and assignment durations will vary depending on the needs of the hiring department and the nature of the temporary assignment.
