Job Advert TEMPORARY LECTURER - JAZZ & TAP DANCE Music Industries & Performing Arts Motherwell & Coatbridge Campus Temporary until January 2027 15 hours per week £43,402 - £52,247 Per Annum Pro Rata We have an opportunity for a motivated and committed individual to join the Performing Arts Team. You will contribute to the delivery of our Performing Arts subjects across SCQF Levels 6-8 at Coatbridge and Motherwell campuses.

The successful applicant will possess a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject and have relevant industry experience in the following areas: Strong technical ability in Jazz & Tap dance styles with accuracy and sharpness. Musicality and advanced rhythmic awareness. Choreographic ability for solo and group work. Stagecraft and performance qualities for stage and screen. Clear teaching and communication skills.

Rehearsal direction and group management. Current knowledge of industry trends. Classroom management Experience in the delivery of the FE curriculum and a teaching qualification are desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential. The successful applicants may be required to deliver at any of the College's main campuses, online and/or in private company training facilities.
