Qualifications & Experienced required: BSc/BTech Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. Professional registration (ECSA, SACQSP or SACPCMP) highly advantageous. Software knowledge: CCS Candy, BuildSmart, CostX, MS Excel (Advanced), MS Project. 8 - 15 years' experience in construction tendering. 5+ years specifically in civil construction. Tender value: From R10 million to over R1 billion.
Proven success with large-scale tenders. Industry experience: Earthwork and Civil Works. Responsibilities: Identifying and sourcing civil construction and earthmoving tenders -experience with large infrastructure projects. Negotiate with clients & secure work independently. Monitoring tender portals and client opportunities. Preparing complete tender submissions. Obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Compiling pricing schedules and documentation - Calculation of rates and estimates, tender pricing. Managing CIDB, COIDA, B-BBEE and compliance requirements. Following up with clients and securing awards. Assisting Management with Business Development.
