Salary: Market-related, negotiable depending on experience Key Responsibilities Conduct guided walking trails and ensure guests enjoy safe, engaging and informative experiences.

Share expert knowledge of the African bush, including wildlife, fauna, flora and the surrounding environment. Deliver exceptional guest service and create memorable safari experiences. Conduct nature walks and other guest activities as required by the lodge. Maintain a high level of safety awareness and ensure all activities comply with lodge and guiding procedures. Interpret animal behaviour and the natural environment in an engaging and educational manner.

Build strong relationships with guests and provide professional and informative interactions. Assist with ensuring all guiding equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. Work closely with the lodge management and wider team to ensure smooth daily operations. Promote a strong conservation ethos and respect for the natural environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Trails Guide within a luxury safari lodge or similar environment.

Relevant guiding qualifications and valid permits required for the position. Strong knowledge of wildlife, fauna, flora and the African bushveld. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation and the safari industry. Confident and professional approach to guest interaction. Strong safety awareness, situational awareness and sound judgement. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Professional; energetic and guest-focused personality. Ability to work in a remote lodge environment.
