Training Area Operative

Maintenance and preparation of firing ranges for safe military training Carrying out preventative, planned and reactive maintenance tasks Construction, repair and deployment of targets Grounds maintenance including fencing, mowing and strimming Supporting forestry tasks such as removal of fallen trees (training provided) Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment (training provided) Driving and operating fleet vehicles Using warning systems including training control offices, flags and lights Ensuring facilities adhere to strict safety protocols and safe systems of work Completing documentation using IT systems and paper-based records This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a positive "can-do" attitude, and is keen to develop new skills.
