Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage multiple transfer pricing engagements across a diverse client portfolio. - Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation for multinational clients. - Conduct benchmarking studies and economic analyses to support intercompany pricing. - Apply the Arm’s Length Principle and recognised transfer pricing methodologies. - Manage client engagements from initial fact-finding through to final delivery.
- Research international and cross-border transactions and prepare responses to tax and regulatory authorities. - Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities. - Mentor and develop junior team members while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high technical standard. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Economics or a related discipline.
Completed articles, ideally within a Big 4 environment, would be advantageous but are not essential. Experience: Transfer Pricing exposure or a strong foundation in tax, audit or advisory. Candidates may be considered directly out of audit where they demonstrate strong technical capability and client-facing experience. Experience managing multiple client engagements and mentoring junior professionals will be advantageous.
Skills: Strong understanding of Transfer Pricing principles, including the Arm’s Length Principle; benchmarking and economic analysis; international and cross-border transaction research; strong analytical, research, problem-solving and communication skills. Other requirements: Proactive, solutions-driven and commercially minded, with excellent client service skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
