Transplant Surgery Opportunity (Kidney/Pancreas) | Central Illinois A physician-owned private practice in Central Illinois is seeking a fellowship-trained Transplant Surgeon to join an established kidney/pancreas transplant program with a clear path to partnership and ownership . Why this Opportunity? ● Kidney & pancreas transplant program with ~60 transplants annually ● 120+ patients currently on the waitlist ● Living donor, deceased donor, and paired kidney donation programs ● 6-8 vascular access cases per week ● 1:2 home call | One week on / one week off ● Approximately 2 weekends/month ● Dedicated OR and clinic time ● 1-2 year partnership track with no traditional buy-in ● Generous PTO that increases with partnership ● Value-based care and ancillary ownership opportunities ● Strong physician autonomy ● No research requirement The Practice The clinical mix is approximately 45% transplant, 50% vascular access, and 5% general surgery , with the opportunity to help grow an established transplant program.
The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained in transplant surgery , with abdominal transplant training preferred. Board certified/eligible candidates with strong vascular access experience are encouraged to apply.
