Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgery, ensuring prompt detection and response to any changes. Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team and anesthesiologist. Maintain a sterile surgical environment by adhering to strict infection control protocols and ensuring proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.

Document all surgical procedures, patient information, and intra-operative care accurately and promptly in electronic health records. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective surgical care. Provide post-operative care and monitoring in the immediate recovery phase, ensuring patients' stability and comfort. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, potential complications, and follow-up appointments to promote recovery.

Ensure all surgical equipment and instruments are properly maintained, sterilized, and ready for use in procedures. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in cardiovascular surgical techniques and practices. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families before, during, and after surgical procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and ethical standards in all aspects of surgical care.
