Employer: Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC Discipline: RN Specialty: ER Shift: 3x12 hr flex Start: 09/28/2026 (may be flexible) Hours: 36/week Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse job duties While job duties may vary depending on the facility you work with, here are some common Travel ER RN responsibilities: Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.

Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous fluids as prescribed by physicians to stabilize patients. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, responding promptly to changes and initiating appropriate interventions. Perform emergency procedures, such as CPR, wound care, and airway management, as needed. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Document patients' medical histories, assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and promptly in electronic health records. Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to ensure understanding and compliance. Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Coordinate patient transfers to other departments or facilities as required, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during their stay in the Emergency Room. Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with advancements in emergency nursing practices. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all nursing interventions, patient responses, and any changes in condition.
