As an Underwater Escape Training (UET) Instructor, you'll play a vital role in preparing aircrew and passengers with the skills and confidence they need to respond in emergency situations. From supporting trainees before they arrive on course, to delivering immersive UET programmes and providing post-course reporting, you'll be at the heart of a professional, high-performing training team.

Beyond training delivery, you'll take ownership of specialist equipment, maintenance procedures and operational support activities, helping to ensure every course is delivered safely, effectively and to the highest standards. Full-time role - 37.5 hours a week Yeovilton Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. What you'll be doing Deliver Underwater Escape Training (UET) courses safely and effectively in line with approved training standards and plans.

Take responsibility for the safety, welfare and duty of care of trainees throughout training activities. Perform a range of operational roles including Course Trainer, Support Trainer, Pool Safety, Diver Attendant and Safety Diver. Prepare training materials, equipment and facilities to ensure courses run smoothly. Assess trainee performance, provide feedback and deliver remedial training where required.

Complete course administration, maintain student records and capture training statistics. Maintain your qualifications, technical competence and the serviceability of UET equipment and PPE. Support the wider training team with specialist advice, equipment management, clothing issue and other operational duties as required. Essential: CMAS 3 diving qualification or equivalent (PADI etc) Computer literate (including MS Office applications) Desirable: Military aviation or diving background (ideally in a flying or survival equipment related role) Selborne is a bold, £1 billion, 12-year transformation of Royal Navy training, led by Capita and a powerhouse consortium known as Team Fisher - including Raytheon UK, Fujitsu, and the University of Lincoln.
