? **Unit Accountant | Luxury Hotel | Hermanus, Western Cape** Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Unit Accountant** to join a prestigious **luxury hotel in Hermanus**. ? **Location:** Hermanus, Western Cape ? **Property Type:** Luxury Hotel ? **Salary:** R25,000 – R30,000 per month ### Key Responsibilities * Manage the day-to-day accounting functions of the hotel unit.

* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are correctly processed. * Prepare and review financial reports and management accounts. * Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes. * Perform regular reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. * Monitor income, expenditure and financial performance. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. * Process invoices, payments and other financial documentation.

* Monitor accounts payable and receivable. * Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company procedures. * Work closely with hotel management to provide accurate financial information and support operational decision-making. ### Requirements * Previous experience in a Unit Accountant, Financial Accountant or similar accounting role. * Experience within the hotel or hospitality industry would be advantageous.

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. * Excellent numerical and analytical skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good organisational and time-management abilities. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider hotel team. * Professional, reliable and confidential approach.
