Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician for a full-time Urgent Care Physician & Medical Director opportunity supporting our Immediate Care Centers in Morris, Diamond, and Channahon, Illinois. This is a unique opportunity to stay actively involved in patient care while having a meaningful voice in how care is delivered. You'll help shape clinical care across our three Immediate Care locations, support and mentor APPs, and improve access to timely care for the communities we serve.

Position Highlights Full-time clinical + Medical Director position Majority of time dedicated to direct patient care with protected leadership time No call or overnight responsibilities Every-other-weekend rotation Predictable four-week schedule Clinical leadership across three Immediate Care locations No scheduling, payroll, or day-to-day operational management Make an Impact Beyond the Exam Room This is clinical leadership, not operational management .

As Medical Director, you'll: Serve as a clinical leader and resource across all three locations Support, mentor, and develop APPs Help shape clinical policies, protocols, and standing orders Participate in peer review and quality initiatives Lead and contribute to Immediate Care team meetings Partner with clinical and operational leaders to continually improve patient care and access Clinical Practice Our Immediate Care Centers provide a fast-paced, procedure-oriented environment with plenty of clinical variety.

Care for patients of all ages Patient volumes typically in the upper 20s outside of flu season Broad mix of acute illnesses, minor injuries, fractures, lacerations, concussions, and Occupational Medicine Perform suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and other urgent care procedures On-site lab, X-ray, and point-of-care diagnostics Access to advanced imaging and hospital-based services A Schedule Built for Balance No call or overnight obligations Immediate Care hours: 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

Monday–Friday and 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday–Sunday Every-other-weekend rotation Predictable scheduling with visibility well in advance Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day Compensation & Benefits Anticipated total compensation: $275,000–$375,000 , based on experience, qualifications, and performance Production and quality incentives available from the start of employment Full Medical Education Loan Repayment PSLF-eligible employer Relocation assistance CME and general expense allowance Generous PTO plus additional CME time BCBS health insurance Retirement plan with employer match Gym membership and annual wellness incentive Requirements BE/BC in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) Proficient in suturing and common urgent care procedures Comfortable reading initial radiographs with radiologist over-read Occupational Medicine experience DOT certification required prior to start
