Vector's partner in Wickliffe, OH, manufactures military and commercial turbine blades and vanes for aircraft and land-based applications. They need Vacuum Lab Technicians to join their growing team! Available Shifts: 3rd Shift (7p-7a) OWW 12-hr. shifts Pay is dependent upon experience 12-hr OWW Schedule Breakdown: Week 1 – Work M/T; Off W/Th/F; Work Sat/Sun Week 2 – Off M/T; Work W/Th/F; Off Sat/Sun RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of vacuum furnaces.
Responsible for the completion of PM’s and regular oil changes on the vacuum furnaces. Assist foundry operators with furnace graphite maintenance as required by supervision. Assist in other plant maintenance work as required by supervision. Repair and maintain other plant equipment as experience indicates. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have experience in vacuum furnace operation and repair. Experience in general maintenance of plant equipment. Background in hydraulics plumbing, pip fitting, welding, and soldering needed. Electrical and electronics experience required to repair furnace controls.
