Variable Hours Lecturer - Building Services Engineering Exeter, Devon £36.85 per hour (inclusive of Market forces supplement) Permanent Exeter and North Devon College Background in Building Services Engineering? We're looking for someone with industry experience in Building Services Engineering to join our team and teach and/or assess apprentices working towards their qualifications and end point assessments.
You don't need to have teaching or assessing experience for this role. We're most interested in your industry knowledge, practical experience and enthusiasm for helping young people develop the skills they need to succeed in the Construction sector. Training towards a teaching or assessor qualification can be provided for the right person. The role offers variable, ad-hoc hours , so it could be a great opportunity if you're looking for occasional work or something you can fit alongside your current role.
You'll need to be… knowledgeable and experienced in Building Services Engineering passionate about supporting and developing the next generation patient, approachable and supportive confident sharing your industry knowledge and experience organised and reliable able to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with learners flexible and happy to work as part of a team What you'll be doing… teaching and/or assessing Building Services Engineering apprentices supporting learners to develop their industry knowledge and skills providing feedback to help learners make progress supporting apprentices as they work towards their end point assessments helping learners achieve their full potential working with colleagues to provide an exceptional learning experience In return, you'll get… £36.85 per hour , including a £4.62 Market Forces Supplement 28% employer pension contribution flexible, variable hours to fit around your other commitments training and development opportunities, including teaching and assessor qualifications the chance to share your industry expertise and make a real difference to learners a rewarding role working alongside people who are passionate about what they do If you have the Building Services Engineering experience and enthusiasm to help the next generation succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
