Assist the foreman in aspects of traffic control, i.e., road striping, pavement marking, and the fabrication and installation of all types of temporary and permanent signs and traffic control devices.Essential functions and responsibilities:Fabricates, erects and maintains temporary traffic control devices, including arrow boards, signs, barricades, channelizing devices, barrels and all message boards.May operate a truck during traffic control operations.Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.Uses power tools and air tools.When not performing the above essential duties and responsibilities, may assist in other operations as designated by the supervisorRequirements:Move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 poundsComply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
