Western Illinois – OB Hospitalist Opportunity Location: Sterling, Illinois Facility: 99-bed independent community hospital Model: Employed physician model Organization Overview Employs approximately 77 physicians and 75 APPs across 35 medical specialties Includes hospital, main clinic, and 14 satellite facilities throughout the service area Position Overview Position: OB Hospitalist Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN – required Schedule: 7 on / 7 off Call Type: On-call only – not required to remain in-house overnight Call Hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Friday–Monday: Noon Friday – 7:00 AM Monday Time Off: 2 weeks vacation + 1 week CME (total 23 working weeks / 161 shifts annually) Duties: All typical responsibilities of an OB Hospitalist Annual Births: Approximately 550 Nursery Level: Level II Staffing Model: 2 OB Hospitalists 3 clinic-based OB/GYN physicians 4 CNMs/Women’s Health APPs Candidate Profile Seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN who values a balanced lifestyle and prefers to practice in a collaborative, community-based environment.
