The Zug Canton Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. In the interdisciplinary emergency centre, more than 27,500 people are treated annually. We are looking for a WMS intern (m/f) from 1 August 2027, limited to 1 year Your tasks Obtaining and processing patient and supplier information Processing incoming and outgoing invoices and supplier reminders Checking patients’ insurance coverage and billing cases Advising and providing information to patients, employees and suppliers by phone, email and at the counter Processing and distributing internal physical and electronic mail Additional tasks in the personnel and technical departments possible Your profile Reliable, flexible and responsible personality with organisational talent Independent, structured and efficient working style Team player and sociable Interest in healthcare Our offer We offer you a varied and demanding role in a collegial team.
During the internship, you will gain broad insight into various departments such as patient admission, patient billing, purchasing and financial accounting.
