Based at our Writtle campus, you'll provide administrative and customer service support for Work Experience and Industry Placements. You'll coordinate the diaries and schedules of Work Experience Coordinators, proactively contact employers to secure outstanding actions and confirm placement details, maintain accurate employer and placement records in Grofar, monitor logged and verified placement hours, and produce weekly exception reports so tutors and Curriculum Team Leaders can intervene early.

You'll also respond to queries from employers, learners and staff, provide practical support with common Grofar issues, and escalate more complex matters appropriately. With a range of GCSEs at grades A to C or equivalent, or a vocational qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, you'll have experience gained in an educational or customer focused organisation and be familiar with relevant procedures and service requirements.

You'll be confident using technology and standard software, working with numbers and data, managing competing priorities and communicating clearly by telephone and in writing. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to provide a calm, supportive first response to students seeking help is essential. Experience of Further Education or student facing administration, work placement systems such as Grofar, and producing weekly exception reports would be an advantage.
