Workshop Manager (CNC Milling, Turning & Multi-Axis) Location: Gauteng, JHB - Eastern Suburbs Job Type: Permanent Seniority Level: Mid-Career (Above 6 yrs exp in a CNC machining environment), with 2 years in a lead / supervisory role) Overview We are looking for a Workshop Manager with experience in CNC Milling, Turning & Multi-Axis machines to join our team. As a Workshop Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager and play a key role in overseeing the design and engineering processes, machine operations, team leadership, quality control, cost management, and safety compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities Design and Engineering Develop & optimize fixturing, production ready programs using Autodesk Fusion Create 3D models, CAM toolpaths, and export machine-ready code Machine Operation & Production Set up, calibrate and operate CNC milling & turning machines Team Leadership & Supervision Quality & Compliance Cost Control & Material Management Assist with job costing & quotations Safety & Housekeeping Timekeeping & Reporting Monitor & report on machine utilization, downtime and production metrics Qualifications Diplomas, Technical Qualification in BTech- Mechanical Engineering Skills Managing daily operations of CNC workshop Programming, setting and running CNC machines Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion for efficient production workflows Cost control and maintaining tool and consumable inventories
