Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 Trade Tested Auto Electrician or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic 4–5 years' post-apprenticeship experience Valid driver's licence Previous experience in the Earthmoving Equipment (EMT) industry Experience working on earthmoving/construction machinery involving programming, automation and electronic systems Practical experience in: Hydraulics Engines Basic electrical systems Ability to read and interpret technical and electrical schematics Good written and verbal communication skills in English Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Key Responsibilities: Carrying out repairs and servicing of earthmoving and construction machinery Refurbishing and maintaining EMT construction machines Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults Working with machine programming, automation and electronic systems Reading and interpreting technical schematics Ensuring all repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to the required standards Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment
