Job Title X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist Location Hilo, HI | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Rotating Shifts | Day shifts with an average of 3 days of call per month Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures independently, without direct supervision Operate a variety of radiographic equipment including DR fixed units, DR fluoroscopy equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain proper dosimetry badge usage at all times Document and manage patient imaging records utilizing the facility's EMR system Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging services Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — candidates without a current Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of offer Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must be assigned and maintain a dosimetry badge Traveler must arrive on island the Friday prior to the Monday start date to complete HR and Employee Health clearance appointments Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Philips DR and Philips fluoroscopy equipment Experience with OEC C-arms and Konica DR systems Proficiency with Epic EMR Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a unique island setting while advancing your career as a traveling Radiologic Technologist Gain experience operating a broad range of advanced radiographic equipment in a dynamic clinical environment
