The Associate Director of Advancement leads philanthropic activities for the Compass division and other assigned programs or geographic areas in alignment with LCSNW’s organizational strategy and mission. This position provides advancement leadership for Compass, guiding fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and the work of assigned Advancement staff in support of divisional priorities.
The Associate Director strengthens alignment between Compass and organizational advancement practices while partnering across the Advancement team to advance shared philanthropic priorities. Lead advancement activities for assigned division(s), programs, or geographic areas, translating organizational philanthropic strategy into fundraising priorities, plans, and measurable outcomes. Advise the Director of Philanthropic Strategy and operational leaders on fundraising opportunities, donor trends, community relationships, and emerging needs that may inform philanthropic strategy and priorities. Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with individual, corporate, foundation, faith-based, and community donors to expand philanthropic support and develop lasting partnerships. Oversee assigned advancement portfolios, including annual planning, donor pipelines, revenue forecasting, stewardship activities, performance reporting, and donor data management. Partner with Advancement team members, operational leaders, Communications, and other stakeholders to coordinate fundraising activities, strengthen donor engagement, and advance consistent organizational practices.
