We have developed a ground-breaking medical device for the diagnosis and treatment of the most common heart rhythm disorder, atrial fibrillation – which can cause stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications.

  Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

  We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!   Please note, this opportunity is an onsite work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.   What You Will Experience You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as: Source and build production equipment to support capacity expansion Assist with the setup and implementation of new production lines Collaborate with engineers on the installation, maintenance and optimization of critical facility infrastructure, including HVAC, compressed air, and water systems Conduct process time studies and provide recommendations for improvements Work on process improvement projects to increase production efficiency and capacity Design and implement fixtures and equipment to improve manufacturing processes using CAD software Implement 5S and other Lean improvements in manufacturing and on the production floor Provide manufacturing team support to meet the production department’s requirements; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems Assist in the documentation of manufacturing processes including, but not limited to, work instructions, standards, and reports Troubleshoot and monitor systems, assess data, and contribute to decision-making for facility improvements and operational efficiencies Support facility expansions, ensure compliance with regulations, manage schedules and deadlines, and oversee contractors for maintenance tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards   What You Bring to the Team Our Kardium team is smart, creative, and passionate about creating cutting-edge medical devices to help improve people’s lives.
