We have developed a ground-breaking medical device for the diagnosis and treatment of the most common heart rhythm disorder, atrial fibrillation – which can cause stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications.

  Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

  We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!   As a member of the Process Quality Engineering team, you will gain hands-on experience applying data analytics and problem-solving skills to real-world manufacturing and quality challenges.

You will work with engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, improve reporting tools, and support initiatives that help drive product quality and manufacturing performance.   Please note, this opportunity is an onsite work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.   What You Will Experience You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as: Analyzing manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement Supporting and enhancing quality and yield dashboards used to monitor manufacturing performance Assisting with defect tracking and data-driven investigations to help solve quality-related problems Exploring factors that influence manufacturing yield and evaluating opportunities to forecast future performance Developing data visualization, reporting, and process monitoring tools to support business decision-making Collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to communicate findings and recommendations Presenting project outcomes and insights to stakeholders at the end of the work term What You Bring to the Team Our Kardium team is smart, creative, and passionate about creating cutting-edge medical devices to help improve people’s lives.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes: Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree program Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Interest in working with data to support business and engineering decisions Experience using Excel and familiarity with data analysis, visualization, or reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar tools Strong communication and collaboration skills Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and work independently when needed Why Work at Kardium?
