Business Management Intern

Takealot.com, South Africa's leading online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Business Management Intern that has a love for analysis and reporting   to join our team in  We are a fast-paced team looking for a hard-working, curious individual who loves working with numbers, organizing information, and learning how things work behind the scenes. In this entry-level role, you don't need years of experience - just a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and a real interest in growing your data analysis skills.  Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: N6 in Business Management, Information Systems, or similar No prior work experience required — this is an entry-level internship  The skills we need: Data & Tech Aptitude: Practical working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (sorting, formulas, data organization) and eagerness to quickly learn new softwares.  Data Interpretation: Ability to organize raw numbers, spot patterns or trends, and present findings clearly.

Rigorous Attention to Detail: Meticulous, accurate, and double-checks work - especially when handling large volumes of operational numbers. Inquisitive & Analytical Mindset: Driven by curiosity, eager to understand how operations work end-to-end, and motivated to solve problems using data. Strong Work Ethic & Resilience: Hard-working, adaptable, and eager to step up to high expectations in a fast-moving business.

Effective Communicator: Clear written and verbal communication, with a collaborative attitude and a willingness to voice ideas. Collaborative & Hands-On: A team player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, contribute creative ideas, and voice their opinion. Key responsibilities: Reporting & Dashboards: Help maintain and update operational dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, and Looker to track core program KPIs. Process Support & Administration: Maintain structured, accurate internal records, databases, and operational tracking files.

Support Enablement: Help structure and update SOPs and reference tools to assist our customer support team in resolving Shopper issues efficiently. Problem Solving & Insights: Spot trends or operational bottlenecks in daily data, dig into the root causes, and present suggestions to senior team members. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively across teams to ensure daily operational targets are met.
