Our Event Security team members play a pivotal role in creating a safe environment for our guests from the moment they enter the venue until the moment they depart. This role does not require a Florida D Security License. Please note that D-Licensed positions are preferred and non D-Licensed positions are limited based on events. Essential Functions Monitor access to restricted areas and exterior doors, maintaining a secure environment for all visitors Control guest and vendor access to FTL War Memorial, both inside and outside the venue Check credentials to manage employee and visitor access during events Monitor and respond to security issues or potential risks that may arise during an event Provide excellent customer service to enhance the FTL War Memorial guest experience Escort guests as needed throughout the venue Follow all safety and security policies, programs, and procedures; manage crisis situations effectively Handle radios professionally, communicating openly and clearly with other team members Report all incidents to the Supervisor or Management Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in security, event staff, and/or customer service strongly preferred Upbeat, team-first attitude with a genuine desire to help people Passion to work with others and willingness to learn Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Assertive, detail-oriented team player with a professional demeanor Self-motivated
