Title: Float Clinical Therapist Reports to: Denver Market Operational Director Department/Location: Onsite FLSA Status: Exempt Schedule: This full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday position is 100% onsite and will float between all Denver Guidelight locations: Central Park, Cherry Creek, and Denver Tech Center.
The role serves IOP/PHP, Adult and Adolescent PHP populations. Will provide group therapy and individual therapy. Licensure: Independent licensure required: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT Compensation: $80K-93K, based on licensure, years of experience, and internal equity. *Milage reimbursement offered Role Summary: The Float Therapist will work across multiple assigned locations for the Adult and Adolescent Guidelight Programs.
The Float Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. In the coverage capacity, Float Therapists will offer group therapy and in long term coverage need instances, individual sessions. Additionally, the Float Therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions.
Potential to provide supervision to other clinical staff on a coverage basis. The Float Therapist will receive a schedule in advance, though, this is subject to change depending on clinic needs. Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians in working toward licensure. *Float Therapists are offered a float differential, which is contingent upon the continued assignment in the float program.
Role Responsibilities/Competencies: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy. Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans to create a cohesive case conceptualization.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care. Completes suicide risk assessment within identified time frames and with appropriate thoroughness and scoring while consulting with clinical leaders. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews determining length of stay and level of care.
Assess and identify community resources based on clients needs during treatment/ aftercare planning. Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning. Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issues while building supportive and trusting relationships Comes prepared to weekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
