Varda is headquartered in El Segundo, California, where we have offices and a production facility where our vehicles, equipment, and materials are built, integrated, and tested.

About This Role Varda Space Industries is looking for a highly motivated Inventory Specialist to join the supply chain team. We are looking for creative candidates who will contribute to development efforts in improving pharmaceuticals with microgravity. As an Inventory Specialist at Varda, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory operations to enable us to build our spacecraft.
Varda is a start-up, so you will have the opportunity to influence our processes and step outside the box. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with inventory, possesses high attention to detail, and shares a commitment to quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Properly store material in inventory Prepare kits of materials requested within ERP system Monitor inventory shelf life and stock levels Perform inventory counts Required Qualifications 1-2+ years of experience with receiving inventory, inspecting inventory, or preparing kits Proficiency with Microsoft office and ERP systems or equivalent software Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality Lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted High school diploma, GED, trade school certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating a forklift Ability to communicate effectively with external suppliers and internal employees Pay Range Analyst Level: $27.88 to $37 per hour Associate Level: $35 to $48 per hour This role is on-site in El Segundo, CA Leveling and base salary is determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance You will be eligible for incentives in the form of stock options and/or long-term cash awards Benefits Consider your benefits covered for launch.
