Vast is looking for a Procurement Coordinator, Indirect, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain , to support the development of the systems required to design and build artificial-gravity, human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time , non- exempt position located in our Long Beach location. Responsibilities: Purchase order placement and open order management. Support Vast Supplier management including tasks such as onboarding, performance monitoring, compliance verification, and relationship management, requiring dedicated oversight.
Assist with consistent communication, contract follow-ups, and resolution of supply chain issues. Ensures procurement activities adhere to policies, reducing organizational and supply chain risk. Activities include Supplier due diligence and documentation tracking now demand sustained focus to maintain audit-readiness and regulatory compliance. Tackle high volume data entry and data migration.
Manage and drive supplier issue ticket resolution, RMA processing and billing/AP discrepancies Enable Procurement team to focus on high-value tasks such as negotiations and procurement strategies, while managing day-to-day operational procurement. Minimum Qualifications: 1-3+ years of procurement experience. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail Preferred Skills & Experience: Remarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speed.
