Job Summary Loenbro is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer supports the successful planning, execution, and delivery of industrial construction projects through technical coordination, project controls, operational reporting, and data-driven analysis.

This role combines traditional project engineering responsibilities with data analysis, reporting, project controls, cost management, and forecasting functions. The Project Engineer will support project execution through technical coordination, performance tracking, forecasting, dashboard development, and data-driven decision-making that improves productivity, schedule performance, cost control, and overall project outcomes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and comfortable working with large data sets, construction management systems, and project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.   Essential Job Responsibilities Project Engineering Support: Support Project Managers and Superintendents in planning and executing industrial construction projects. Assist with project startup activities, subcontractor coordination, procurement tracking, and material management.

Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to ensure alignment with project requirements. Assist with Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project correspondence. Monitor project progress and help identify potential risks, delays, and cost impacts.   Data Analytics and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret project performance data from multiple systems and sources.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support project decision-making. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, productivity, schedule, cost, labor utilization, equipment usage, and project profitability. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement. Develop recurring operational and project performance reports for leadership using data from construction management, scheduling, and financial systems.

Support project forecasting efforts through analysis of cost, labor, production, and schedule data. Provide financial and operational reporting to project teams and leadership.   Project Controls Support: Assist in maintaining project schedules and progress tracking. Support budget monitoring, cost reporting, earned value tracking, and change management processes. Analyze project performance against budgets, schedules, and production targets.
