You’ll step into an established accounting environment with documented procedures, reconciled accounts, organized records, and a structured month-end close process. The engagement is approximately 40 hours per month , with most work concentrated around: 🧾 Daily: Brief transaction review and sync in QuickBooks Online 💵 Twice monthly: Payroll journal entries 📊 Month-end: Monthly close and financial reporting The monthly close should be completed within the first week of the following month , but you’ll have flexibility in how you manage those hours. Evening and weekend work is completely acceptable when it fits your schedule.

As you become familiar with our systems and processes, we anticipate the close becoming increasingly efficient. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Active CPA license in good standing in any U.S. state Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Demonstrated experience independently managing month-end close Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting and U.S.
