Overview   The Rental Check-In Agent is the first point of contact for guests arriving at the rental shop, responsible for creating a warm, efficient, and sales-focused check-in experience. This role checks guests in, verifies online reservations, and processes payments for rentals, lesson packages, lift tickets, and retail items. Strong knowledge of The Summit’s product offerings is essential — this position actively shares that knowledge with guests and looks for opportunities to recommend upgrades, lessons, lift tickets, and retail items that will enhance their day on the mountain.

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Long Term Thinking Track where delays occur during peak times and propose ideas to management for long term improvements.

Note inefficiencies in the rental POS and tracking process to hel management refine to products and how they are being sold. Excellence in Execution Check guests in efficiently and accurately, verifying reservations, rental agreements, and required paperwork including waivers and identification. Process rental returns, inspect returned equipment for damage, and update inventory and reservation systems accordingly.

Operate point-of-sale and reservation software to process payments for rentals, lesson packages, lift tickets, and retail items. Maintain an organized, efficient check-in flow to minimize guest wait times, especially during peak periods. Complete opening and closing duties, including assisting with rental returns and cleaning the check-in area for the next shift. Maintain a calm, professional, and solutions-focused attitude during high-volume periods and when handling guest concerns. Develop Great People Share product knowledge and check-in best practices with new and seasonal team members to help build a knowledgeable, guest-ready team. Serve First Actively sell and upsell rental upgrades, lesson packages, lift tickets, and retail items, using strong product knowledge to make personalized recommendations that enhance each guest's day.

Provide guests with detailed information about rental options, lesson offerings, lift ticket products, retail items, and the base area layout to help them plan their day.
