We’re hiring a Vehicle Service Technician (VST) to help keep our ambulances in top condition, fully stocked, clean, and ready to respond. This behind-the-scenes role is vital to ensuring our crews can focus on what matters most: providing exceptional care and service to our patients. This position requires flexibility to work nights and weekends. Responsibilities Ensure all ABC Ambulance ambos are fully stocked, clean, and properly maintained for service each day.
Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-ready environment that reflects ABC’s standards of professionalism and care. Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inventory checks, restocking supplies and updating tracking logs as needed. Perform basic mechanical and safety inspections (oil, washer fluid, tire pressure, batteries) and promptly report issues to the Admin Supervisor or On Duty Supervisor. Accurately complete required documentation in accordance with ABC Ambulance policies and information security standards.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with dispatch, operations, and field crews to ensure seamless coordination and readiness. Work collaboratively with fellow Vehicle Service Technicians, On Duty Supervisors, and Dispatch to support ABC’s mission of timely, high-quality patient transport. Minimum Required Qualifications Valid State Driver’s License High school diploma or GED Driving record that meets ABC Ambulance standards Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotational schedule Preferred Qualifications Current EMT certification or active enrollment in an EMT program Prior work experience in healthcare, automotive maintenance, or logistics Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace Team-oriented attitude and a commitment to excellence in service and safety <div style="text-align: center
