Associates will train to compete at the ACE Nationals Case Competition and Conference in Toronto (January 2027). Throughout the term, they’ll develop core business skills by actively participating in weekly training sessions featuring structured lessons, mock competitions, and personalized feedback. Time Commitment 2-4 hours per week Term of Employment September 2026-March 2027 Responsibilities Compete and train for the ACE Nationals Case Competition and Conference Conduct industry and competitor research each week to strengthen case analyses and recommend evidence-based strategies.
Mentor first-year members on casing strategies and presentation skills in preparation for ACE Nationals competition Attend weekly training sessions, consisting of in-depth workshops on technical skills and public speaking, practice cases, and formal mock competitions Attend ACE Nationals in Toronto, representing UBC against 18+ Canadian universities (January 2027) Qualifications Public speaking abilities Eagerness and a curiosity to learn Previous casing experience is an asset, but not required Submit the following information by September 20th, 2026 at 11:59 PDT A one-paged resume outlining your most relevant experiences A cover letter describing: Why do you want to be involved in ACE UBC?
