The NDT Technician - Multi Disciplined will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing and radiographic inspections on various structures and equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and safety of our clients operations, as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The technician will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to identify and address any potential issues or defects.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and radiographic inspections on offshore structures and equipment. Utilize various NDT methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiographic testing. Interpret and analyze inspection results, identifying any defects or anomalies. Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop inspection plans and strategies. Train and mentor junior technicians on NDT techniques and best practices. Stay updated with the latest NDT technologies and advancements in the field. Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in non-destructive testing and radiography. Certified PCN Level II in multiple NDT methods, including radiographic testing. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to NDT and offshore operations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams.
Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software for data analysis. Willingness to work offshore and adapt to dynamic work environments. Valid certifications and licenses as per local and international requirements. A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as engineering or NDT technology, is preferred.
