In this role, you will be part of Mycronic's PCB Assembly Solutions division (PA), a leading provider of equipment and solutions for surface mount technology (SMT). Our solutions enable electronics manufacturers to adapt production quickly while maintaining high efficiency, ranging from individual systems for specific process steps to complete production lines and advanced software for assembly process management and connected factories.
We Offer A strategic role where you will have a significant influence on the direction of our world-leading Jet Printing product. The opportunity to work with new technology and contribute to innovation together with our Jet Printing core development team of 15 specialists across software, mechanics, electronics, configuration management, testing, product management, as well as collaborate with a wide range of functions across the company. Work tasks As a Systems Architect, you will lead the definition, development, and evolution of robust, scalable, and sustainable system architectures.
You will provide the architectural perspective that connects our engineering disciplines and helps translate business and customer needs into technical direction. To do this effectively, you will invest the necessary time to truly understand our products and customers. This includes gaining firsthand experience of their perspective by using our systems during experiments, exploring new opportunities, and developing a deep understanding of how our solutions are used in practice.
Your responsibilities will include: Lead and align cross-functional technical development, ensuring that software, electronics, mechanics, and mechatronics work together as an integrated system. Explore and drive the use of AI to deepen our understanding of the product, identify new opportunities, and improve how we develop and evolve our solutions. Lead workshops and facilitate discussions around business and technical needs.
Balance the overall architectural perspective with the necessary technical details while engaging others in developing concepts that meet customer and product requirements. Support sales at customer-specific development by performing requirement analyses and product definition. Establish, develop and share knowledge of current and future manufacturing technologies.
